Certificates Renewal Nature

About two months ago, CompTIA announced that certificates like A+, Network+ and Security+ will still be valid in three years, but the certificates will be renewed so as to make sure the certificates go with the updated technology renew, contain newer knowledge and meet certain standards. The certification holders need to retest or go for another test to keep certified. The renewal aims to require the certification holders maintain the current technology skills.

The certification pursuing is a continual process, which requires IT professionals keep up to date. It is the trend in the IT certification industry. The certification renewal has a positive influence to the companies and the IT professionals.

Certificates Pursuing is stressful. The vendor provide the professionals an option to choose retest or updated study will decrease the stress. Therefore, the professionals will be able to concentrate on their clients, act better and deploy the renewed technology solutions.

Let's take a short look at the the Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP ) certification. The Certificate holders is required to retest every three years or to take continuing education courses and complete 20 continuing education units (CEU) per year to keep their certified. What's more, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification needs continuous education to maintain available.Occupational therapist (OT) professionals need to pass their license test in order to be allowed to work as OT professionals in the health care field. Then, they are required to take 36 hours continuous education programs every three years to keep their license. This is also true for doctors, nurses and any other health care professional. The two industries seems different greatly, but the changes and renewal is the same. The OT learns new techniques to help children with autism while the IT professional must learn new operating systems and hardware. Both professionals need to keep their knowledge up-to-date.
